For best results, place the empty press in the refrigerator to chill for about an hour before using. Try also putting your cookie sheets in the freezer about 20 minutes before placing cookies on the sheet. By doing this, it’ll help form perfect looking cookies.
When washing your cookie press when finished, wash by hand and allow all pieces to thoroughly dry before putting it away.
Delicious Cookie Press Spritz Cookie Recipe
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup cornstarch
Preheat oven to 350° F.
In a bowl using an electric mixer, blend butter, powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth. Stir in cornstarch and flour until blended together. Put into your cookie press and squeeze dough on to an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake about 10 minutes, or until golden in color.
